Teacher for Social Change

This book, Teacher for Social Change, is grounded in the belief that teachers occupy a central role in this tension between 
reproduction and transformation. Teaching is not simply a technical act of delivering prescribed content; it is a profoundly social, moral, and political practice. Teachers interpret curriculum, structure learning environments, establish norms of interaction, and make daily decisions that shape whose voices are heard, whose knowledge is valued, and whose experiences are marginalized. 
Through these everyday practices, teachers participate—consciously or unconsciously—in shaping social realities.
